Dave Anderson SkillBuilders Dave Anderson has more than 24 years of hands-on experience in the IT industry. His last 10 years have been spent working with Oracle, as a programmer and administrator. Dave speaks regularly at Oracle conferences including IOUG, NYOUG, CTOUG, VOUG, NOUG, and SEOUC (where he won "Best of Conference" for his RMAN presentation). In 1992 Dave founded and is still employed by SkillBuilders, an Oracle Partner specializing in Oracle sales, training, and consulting.
Michael Ault Quest Software Mike Ault has worked with Oracle databases since 1990 and has written numerous books, articles, and presentations dealing with management and tuning of Oracle database systems. Mike has presented at international, national, and regional user groups and is considered one of the top 10 Oracle experts in the world. Cliff Autin ReadSoft Cliff Autin is an Oracle specialist with ReadSoft. His responsibilities include pre-sales consulting, InvoiceIT implementations and integration of ReadSoft DOCUMENTS for Invoices with Oracle E-Business Suite. He has more than 20 years of information technology experience, including 10 years with Oracle applications, database, development, and data warehousing solutions. Cliff was previously employed by Oracle Consulting and is experienced in their application implementation methodology. He holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Alabama and is an Oracle Certified Professional.
Leonora Barry Dominion Resources Services Nora Barry has more than 15 years experience as an Oracle DBA. As a contractor she taught Oracle DBA track at Oracle University for more than a year. She's spent the last 6 years as a senior DBA at Dominion Resources Services managing critical databases in the fast-paced environment of the Energy Trading Floor. She is currently leading the effort at Dominion to migrate to 10g.
Jonathan Beasley Oracle Corporation Jonathan Beasley is a senior solutions architect for Oracle's South Atlantic Technology area. He has worked in enterprise network technologies for over 12 years, including network management, forensics, packet analysis, and security. As a solutions architect, Jonathan works with a diverse client base to develop business solutions to meet their technology needs.

Michael Doherty Network Appliance, Inc. Michael Doherty, with more than 10 years of experience in Oracle products and solutions, joined NetApp in April of 2006 as a database consulting engineer, with responsibilities for providing database expertise to enterprise customers in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Prior to joining NetApp, Mike was the senior manager for Global DBA Operations at TRX, Inc., in Atlanta, GA. Mike began his career as a DBA at Bay Networks/Nortel where he led the Technical team for Disaster Recovery, followed by several years at Atroad, Inc.
Michael Falkenrath F5 Networks Mike Falkenrath joined F5 Networks in 2000, working throughout Europe to increase F5's presence in the EMEA region. After returning to the Washington, D.C. area, he contributed to F5's professional services organization as a network support engineer, an enterprise network engineer, and a consultant. Currently Mike serves as senior field systems engineer for F5's Federal and Southeast teams. He holds a B.S. in economics from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.
Mark Geisler GoldenGate Software Mark Geisler is a senior systems engineer with GoldenGate Software and a 20 year veteran in the software industry. He has helped successfully architect and deliver solutions to Fortune 1000 companies requiring real-time data warehousing, reporting, and high availability for critical business applications running on Oracle and other major database platforms. Mark has held positions at IBM, Sybase, and TIBCO, and earned a bachelor of science degree in industrial and systems engineering from Ohio University in Athens, OH.
Michael Ghelli BEZ Systems Mike Ghelli has over 15 years of experience designing and deploying information systems applications and processes. He is currently responsible for customizing BEZ products to help customers quickly and efficiently realize the benefits of proactive performance management. Prior to joining BEZ, Mike built consulting practices at Network Intelligence (now part of RSA), and at Precise Software (now part of Symantec Corp.). Mike also optimized database and application performance as a field consultant at both Precise Software and MORE Systems. He holds a B.S. in computer science from Stonehill College and an M.B.A. in management from Bentley College.
Randy Gobbo Maersk Randy Gobbo is a 36 year veteran of container terminal operations. He has held operational and IT positions with numerous companies and has helped write and install large scale terminal operations systems. In 1993, he received the CSX Award of Excellence for a rewrite of the Gate system at Sea Land Terminals. Randy graduated from Rutgers College in 1971 and is currently working in Charlotte, heading up the APM Terminals Data Warehouse Project.
Ron Harmon EnteGreat Ron Harmon is a Certified Oracle Professional in Oracle Database 7, 8, 8i, 9i, and 10g. He holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science and a master of business administration in information systems. He uses relational databases as business tools in manufacturing organizations.
Vinod Haval Bank of America Vinod Haval is a senior Oracle DBA working with Bank of America. He has more than 9 years of IT experience as an Oracle DBA. He has presented a number of papers on Oracle as well as non-Oracle subjects at various Oracle User Group conferences in the U.S. and abroad, including IOUG and Oracle OpenWorld.

He is an internationally recognized Oracle expert with Oracle experience dating back to the Oracle V4.0 days. Dan's latest book is the SQL Developer Handbook by Oracle Press. He is also the author of Oracle9i Development by Example and Oracle8i from Scratch by Que and has coauthored 7 other popular books including the Database Oracle 10g Linux Administration by Oracle Press. He is frequently published in Oracle trade journals, and regularly speaks at Oracle conferences and user groups around the world.
Ashok Kapur Hawkeye Technology, Inc. Ashok Kapur has over 15 years of full lifecycle experience with more than 10 years of Oracle Database Administration experience. He has administered both development and production instances, including Oracle Applications instances, and has held Oracle DBA certification (OCP) since 1997. Ashok’s industry experience includes telecommunications, security, broadcasting, space, and hospitality, with several years of management, project lead, and progressive development experience. He is currently president of Hawkeye Technology, Inc., a company specializing in Oracle Consulting services.

Shyam Nath Oracle Corporation Shyam Nath is the chair of the Oracle Business Intelligence, Warehousing and Analytics (BIWA) SIG. He has worked in the industry as an Oracle consultant and DBA since 1994, has worked on large databases (1TB+), performance tuning and application design, and on data mining for telecom, finance and the law enforcement industry. He has presented at Collaborate/IOUG, OpenWorld, IEEE, and NYOUG. His interest areas include: Data Mining, BI&DW, database architecture, data integration, and text/enterprise search. He has been an OCP (DBA track) since 1998 and has an MBA in eCommerce and a master’s degree in computer science.
Shaun O'Brien Piocon Technologies Shaun O’Brien is an accomplished technical evangelist, identity management expert, and systems architect with extensive experience in the creation of highly available enterprise systems. In addition to being a regular presenter at local, regional, national, and international Oracle and Java users groups, he has been published in JavaWeb, TKN, and is a contributing author on the Brad Brown/Chris Ostrowski book Oracle Application Server 10g Web Development by Oracle Press.
Eric Offenberg Princeton Softech As a product marketing manager with nearly 10 years of technology marketing experience across various industries, Eric Offenberg, CIPP, has established himself as a thought leader in the area of data privacy. He has spoken numerous times on behalf of Princeton Softech in various webinars and industry events. He holds a masters of business administration degree with a concentration in marketing from Rider University and a bachelor of arts degree in communications with a concentration in public relations from Rutgers University. Charles Pfeiffer FireTower Tech, LLP Charles Pfeiffer has been working in IT for 10 years. He has 5 years of experience as a DBA, 3 years of experience as a SAN Administrator, and has always been involved with UNIX administration. He is skilled in custom/unique problem solving and has a strong background in performance tuning and security. Currently, Charles is a partner in his own consulting firm, working on a new Java application that will bring together the best of alerting and trending for databases and servers. He is also working on a new performance-tuning book.
Doris Phillips City of Charlotte Doris Phillips is the designer and developer of data marts, Business Intelligence solutions, and data visualization for the City of Charlotte's IT Division. She is an early adopter of APEX and has presented at IOUG and Oracle Open World.
Jim Raper City of Charlotte Jim Raper is the manager of data administration for the City of Charlotte's Information Technology staff where he is leading the Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse initiatives. He has more than 30 years of experience working in the public, private, and defense intelligence sectors. Jim has the distinction of having designed one of the first Oracle databases for the Department of Defense and has assisted a number of companies in implementing tailored business intelligence solutions. He has served as president of the Southeast Oracle User Group, and is a frequent contributor to local, regional, and international Oracle User Group conferences.
Dean Richards Confio Software Dean Richards has over 15 years of Oracle project development, implementation, and strategic database architecting. Before coming to Confio, Dean held engineering positions at McDonnell Douglas and Daugherty Systems, an object-oriented solution provider for Anheuser-Busch. Dean was also a technical director for Oracle Corporation, managing all aspects of their broadband account including short- and long-term technical planning and strategic alliances. As a highly successful liaison between management and technical staff, Dean has proven to be an effective collaborator implementing cutting-edge Oracle solutions. A double major in computer sciences and mathematics, Dean graduated cum laude from Southern Illinois University.
Kuljit Sangha Quest Software Kuljit Sangha began his career with Quest Software in 2001 and has worked in technical support and as a software trainer for the company. Kuljit holds a bachelor's degree in computer information systems from California State Polytechnic University and a master's degree in information systems from the California State University, Fullerton.

Ramesh Sannegowda is both functionally and technically proficient with Oracle HRMS, with over 10 years of hands-on Oracle HRMS implementation and 15 years of software and hardware development experience. Kenny has presented papers at OpenWorld, HPWorld, IOUG, and other conferences in the U.S. and Europe. He holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification and is an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), and currently serves on the board of the Georgia Oracle Users Group.
Robert Webb FireTower Tech, LLP Robert Webb is a senior database administrator. He is an Oracle Certified Professional and director of Remote Database Administration, leading a team directly responsible for over 300 databases across the world. Robert is a frequent presenter at both state and regional Oracle User Group conferences.
Matthew Zito GridApp Systems, Inc. Matthew Zito is an expert in large-scale infrastructures, with extensive experience in designing and deploying some of the world's largest system, network, and application architectures. Before joining GridApp, Matthew worked at leading information storage company EMC and at Register.com, where he pioneered the use of centralized management and automation to run large production application infrastructures.
